Social Service Activity Report for March, 2009

1. DATE: 02.03.09, 1700 Hrs. –1800 Hrs.

Venue : VIKALANGALA KALYANA VEDIKA, Tapovan Colony, Hyderabad
Program : Sponsoring the Scribers fee to the Visually Challenged Girls

Every year the members of HAF pay the Scribers Fee to the visually challenged Girls of Vikalangula Kalyana Vedika. This amount is paid to the person who writes (scribes) whatever the Blind Student dictates, during the respective examination.

This year the founders and the members of the Humanitarian Aid Foundation have sponsored the Scribers Fees for the following 6 Blind Girl students for the Intermediate Examination.

2. DATE: 07.03.09, 1700 Hrs. –1800 Hrs.

Venue : Abhinandana Orphanage, Chaitanyapuri & Center for Social Service, Nagole
Program : Distribution of Bath Towels & Money.

HAF donated Bath Towels to 20 students of Abhinandana & 40 Students at Center for Social Service.

B V S Murthy, Managing Trustee of Bhanu Kiran Memorial Charitable Trust donated an amount of Rs.5,000/- to Abhinandana as well as Center for Social Service.

HAF donated Rs.3,000/- to Abhinandana Orphanage, towards purchase of provisions

HAF members proposed to give rewards to the best scoring students of the Center for Social Service in the Final Exams.

3. DATE: 23.03.09, Time: 17:30 Hrs to 18:30 Hrs

Venue : Care & Love Welfare Society, Gagathirgutta, Hyderabad
Program : Donation of Towels & Money.

HAF donated Bath Towels as well as Rs.3,000/- in cash and Shri B V S Murthy, Managing Trustee of Bhanu Kiran Memorial Charitable Trust, donated Rs.5,000/- to this Orphanage.

We thank one and all, who sponsored as well as participated in our HAF’s Programs.
