Felicitation to In-Charges of NGOs by HAF

Program : Felicitation and Donation to In-charges of 6 NGOs patronized by HAF

HAF wanted to begin New Year 2008, not only by wishing everybody Happy New Year, but also by really making at least some NGOs happy by calling the respective In-charges and felicitating them in appreciation of their wonderful and selfless services as well as arranging donation to them. Accordingly 6 NGOs as per the details given below are called and they were given opportunities to explain their activities in front of the HAF members gathered in large numbers.

Social Service Activity Report for Dec – 2007

1. DATE: 17.12.07, Time 16:30 Hrs
Venue : ECIL Main Gate – Near SBI ATM
Program : Donation to Visually Challenged Girl (Ms N Charitamma) for her B Ed

There was requirement from Vikalangula Kalyana Vedika (Blind Girls Hostel, Kothapet, Hyderabad) for Education (BEd) expenses and Scriber and Braille Paper expenses for all the inmates, to the extent of Rs.29,000/-. We had circulated the request to all the friends. We called Mr Subhash Gupta, (Founder – Visually challenged himself) along with N Charitamma and some more Girls of the Hostel to our place and with the thumping co-operation of all noble minded souls the donation of more than Rs.35,000/- was given to them and they were very happy for this gesture by the members of HAF.

On this occasion another NGO namely JAYCEES being run by our friends also donated Rs.5,000/- to the Vikalangula Kalyana Vedika, to help the Visually Challenged Girls.

Venue : (1) Karunya Orphanage, Uppal
(2) VSSA, Malkajgiri and
(3) CSS, Nagole

Program : Vastradaanam & Annadaanam

On the occasion of Christmas and New Year 2008, HAF has donated NEW DRESSES to the inmates of Karunya Orphanage, Uppal. Similarly NEW DRESSES were donated to the Orphans and Semi Orphans and the Senior Citizens of Venkateshwara Social Service Association, Malkajgiri.

We have given donation to Centre for Social Service, Nagole, towards their requirement for Food Materials.

Social Service Activity Report for Nov – 2007

Program : Donation towards Crackers for Deepavali

HAF donated required amount to the above mentioned Orphanages and Centre for Special Children for the arrangement of crackers, as per our concept given below:

When we chant the Almighty’s Namavali,
Let’s help Orphans also celebrate Deepavali.

2. DATE: 14.11.2007

Venue : Venkateshwara Social Service Association
Program : Annadaanam

Annadaanam has been arranged for the inmates of Venkateshwara Social Service Association, sponsored by Sri PVSN Anjaneya Prasad, ISD, ECIL, on the occasion of his Grand daughter SRINIJA’s Anna Prasna function and also incidentally coinciding with the Children’s Day. Really this is the best way of celebrating Anna Prasna and Children’s Day and HAF is glad to co-ordinate for the same.

Venue : Karuna Praja Vaidyashala, Nagaram, Hyderabad
Program : Donation of Medical Apparatus

Karuna Praja Vaidyashala is a Free Clinic for the poor started by Mr Antony Raj, (Teacher in DAE School, ECIL) to take care of the basic Health Care needs of poor villagers in Nagaram, Hyd. HAF donated the Medical apparatus for all the basic check ups like Eyes, ENT, Diabetes and other requirements. The free services are extended by the Doctors, Nurses and even the Sweeper to this Free Clinic.

4. DATE: 25.11.2007

Venue : Central Library, Chikkadpally, Hyderabad
Program : Felicitation to HAF by Abhinandana Appu Ghar

Abhinandana Apna Ghar (Orphanage) organized their annual day cultural festival during which they wanted to felicitate the founders of Humanitarian Aid Foundation, namely Sri S Subba Rao, Sri P.Mohan Ram and Sri TPV Ramana for extending the help to them at frequent intervals. Since the other two founders could not attend the function due to some pre-occupations, Sri P.Mohan Ram was felicitated by Abhinandana Apna Ghar through the Gnan Peet Award winner and Great Poet Sri C Narayan Reddy.

Venue : Home for the Disabled, Near Bible Society, Sec’bad.
Program : Donation of Almirah

HAF Donated an Almirah to this NGO which is taking care of nearly 300 Differently Abled Inmates
